For more than three decades, Janet M. Strickland has provided trusted legal guidance with a commitment to integrity, clarity, and personalized client service. She began her academic journey at the University of Florida, graduating with high honors in 1978, and later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 1989. Janet was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1989 and the Florida Bar in 1998.

Her early career included positions with the Law Office of J. Albert Bauer, P.C. in Breckenridge, Colorado (1991–1997) and the longstanding Florida firm Landis Graham French (1998–2003). On August 1, 2003, she opened the Law Office of Janet M. Strickland, P.A. in Port Orange, Florida. In 2010, Janet brought her practice to Sanibel Island, where she continues to serve clients with professionalism and deep local commitment.

In 2024, attorney Neva K. Torres joined the firm after passing the Florida Bar in 2023. A longtime Fort Myers resident and now a Sanibel local, Neva practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, trusts, and estate administration.
